Monday, 1/23/12, rest day, After a long week & weekend of skiing take Monday as a rest day.
Tuesday, 1/24,12, Hickory Hills classic sprints, 4:45PM -- Warm-up ski technique and drills. 6PM race. We only have two good practice sessions this week because of the early morning travel to Marquette this Friday - so let’s get an excellent warm-up and effort at the classic sprints. Come prepared and ready to go fast. Watch for info concerning excused absences for Friday.
Wednesday, 1/25/12, 4:15PM, Timber Ridge, Classic Synchronized Skiing.  Easy distance. Warm-up on wide 1/2 loop until 4:30. Then groups ski continuous 1hour easy distance. Ski to 6K hill - repeat 1 - 6 hills depending on your group and the amount of time.  Head back via special K - & ski until 5:30PM in Timber Ridge - synchronized skiing.
Thursday, 1/26/12, Central High School, 4PM (will notify you if we can start earlier) Waxing in field house.  Wax skis & Practice technique + quick pickups on the fields outside of the track. Those that need help with waxing should plan on getting your skis waxed freestyle first / classic if we have time. We will finish the classic skis in Marquette, (leave wax on classic skis for travel). All skis must have ski ties for travel!
Friday, 1/27/12,   Tentative itinerary for Noque weekend.
7AM - Car Pool leaves CHS for Marquette
12:34PM arrival in Marquette and lunch
1:15PM: Check in Super 8
2PM:  Leave for Forestville Trailhead
2:30PM: register – bib pickup –
 
2:55PM: ski 5k course
 
3:45PM line up for start
 
4PM 5K Freestyle Mass start
 
5PM - Dinner – pickup bibs at Dome /ski expo after 5:30PM
 
6PM – Glide Wax Classic Skis
 
7PM team meeting – in wax room
 
10PM Lights out – need rest for big race on Saturday
 
Saturday 1/28/12
7AM – 7:45AM Breakfast
7:45 – 8:15AM get Race ready
8:15 – Proceed to car pool
8:20 leave for Forestville trailhead
8:40 arrive at race site – get bibs on ready to ski, wax skis with kick wax of the day and warmup.
9:35AM line up for start
9:45AM Classic Start
11AM – Lunch in the Dome???
Head Home when your vehicle is ready – 12:30 25K skate begins

1. I believe Frank Leahy has some nice skate skis fo a little lighter person = Fischer 180CM - 110 - 140# pounds Pilot Binding
 
2. Andrew has some nice boots for sale also -  classic size 42 2/3 or 9. $250 new selling for $100 - Salomon Carbonlites.
 
3. KATIE COONEY HAS SOME LIKE NEW SIZE 8 womens Pilot - Salomon Skate Boots - $75 very good deal.
 
4. Andrew Roddy from Last years team has 170cm poles for sale and some shorter classic poles also. SWIX 170 cm poles new last year
Alpina 147 cm poles 2 seasons old i believe
Both in good shape. Paid $40 for the Swix poles at Brick Wheels, I'm not sure about the others, but we did purchase them new at the ski swap.
